Horseless Program

The Indy Riders 4-H Horseless Program was developed for students interested in horses, but without access to a horse for showing in 4-H.  Through this program we strive to teach our students about the many aspects of horse ownership and care.  Some of the topics covered include horse breeds, medical and hoof care, grooming and showing.  The students will be given the opportunity to assist at all Indy Rider 4-H shows in order to learn about the work that goes into running a show.  Each student will also be required to complete a poster project to be displayed and judged at the Marion County Fair.

The Indy Riders Horseless Program is available to all school-aged children from grades K-12.  The next season is slated to begin in January 2012.  Please check back on our website for updates as we get closer to the next season.
